The PFI team are New Zealand's industrial property experts. Collectively our team has over 120 years of property experience, and the key individuals have extensive experience in the ownership, management and development of industrial property.
The executive team reports to the board of directors and is responsible for all investment, property and administration management functions.
The board currently has six independent directors. All directors are appointed by shareholders at PFI’s annual meeting.

Simon was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of PFI in January 2019.
Prior to this, Simon was General Manager of PFI from mid-2013, and prior to that, General Manager of Direct Property Fund (DPF) before PFI's merger with (DPF) in 2013, having joined McDougall Reidy & Co Limited as Development Manager in 2005.
He is a graduate of Canterbury University where he completed his Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Marketing.

Craig joined McDougall Reidy & Co Limited (MRC) as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of MRC and Direct Property Fund (DPF) in 2009. Craig was appointed Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of PFI in 2012, and when PFI merged with DPF in 2013, was appointed Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of the merged entity. In January 2019, Craig was appointed as Chief Finance and Operating Officer.
Craig has nearly two decades of property industry experience, having previously spent six years in London working in property funds management at LaSalle Investment Management and General Electric Real Estate. Craig is a graduate of Auckland University and is a Chartered Accountant, having trained as an auditor at PwC.

Ewan joined PFI as Asset/Development Manager in 2015 and was promoted to Portfolio Manager in 2020.
Prior to joining, Ewan spent 13 years working in various roles in property, asset and fund management in the United Kingdom, the last nine in Edinburgh where he worked managing and acquiring a diverse range of property for a large property trust. Ewan has a valuation background and is a graduate of both Lincoln and Cambridge University. Ewan is responsible for leading the team that manages PFI's property portfolio.

Sarah joined PFI in 2020.
She previously held a variety of roles across property finance, risk, compliance and governance in the banking sector. She is a graduate of the University of Waikato where she completed her Bachelor of Management Studies with Honours.
Sarah works with all parts of the company on a variety of matters including sustainability, risk management, compliance, and company secretarial.
Director since 2019, last re-elected March 2023.
He is currently a Director of Air New Zealand Limited, and Port of Tauranga Limited and is a member of the Executive Board of the Halberg Foundation. Dean was previously a Director of Tainui Group Holdings Limited.
From 1999 through to 2017, Dean was Managing Director of Freightways Limited (Freightways). During that time, he took Freightways through several ownership changes and by the end of his time as Managing Director, the company had achieved significant growth resulting in a market capitalisation of $1.2 billion. In addition to his Managing Director role, Dean was also a director of the public policy think tank “The New Zealand Initiative” and its predecessor the “New Zealand Business Roundtable” from 2011 to 2015.
Angela recently joined PFI’s Board in February 2023, and was elected in March 2023.
Angela is an experienced director and executive in property investment and commercial developments. She is currently a director of Vital Healthcare Property Trust, Channel Infrastructure NZ Limited, Foodstuffs South Island, Fulton Hogan, and Bayleys Corporation Board.
Angela was previously the Chief Executive of Tramco Group, a director of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand, realestate.co.nz, and a Board member of the Property Council of New Zealand. Angela also held a number of senior positions over a 10-year period with Foodstuffs Auckland and Foodstuffs North Island, most recently being General Manager Property Development for Foodstuffs North Island. Angela is also a qualified lawyer with significant expertise in environment and property law.

Anthony is a professional director and consultant, consulting to both the private and public sector on a wide variety of property matters.
He was formerly head of property for AMP Capital Investors (New Zealand) Limited and is a Chartered Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Directors, a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers, a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a Life member of the Property Institute of New Zealand.
Director since August 2022, elected in March 2023.
She is currently a director of WEL Networks, Green Cross Health, and Vulcan Steel, and she is also an investment committee member at Oriens Capital and a Trustee of the Halberg Foundation. Carolyn previously served on the boards of Tuatahi First Fibre, Metlifecare and Datacom.
Carolyn has a background in investment management, capital markets and mergers and acquisitions, having spent six years as a portfolio manager at the Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation, and ten years prior to that in investment banking at Forsyth Barr and First NZ Capital / Credit Suisse.
David has been a Director of PFI since 2018 and was last re-elected in April 2024.
David is a senior partner at law firm Buddle Findlay, where he runs a broad corporate and commercial law practice, with particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate structuring. He has over 30 years’ legal experience including over 21 years at partner level, and was a member of Buddle Findlay’s board for seven years. David advises a wide range of New Zealand and international businesses, and significant public-sector clients including the University of Auckland, Eke Panuku Development Auckland, Auckland Council, Auckland Transport, Victoria University of Wellington, Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, and New Zealand Blood and Organ Service.
David was raised in Christchurch, where he completed commerce and law degrees at the University of Canterbury. He then practiced law in Wellington and London, before returning to Buddle Findlay in 2000 and becoming a partner of the firm in Auckland in 2002.
Jeremy joined PFI’s Board of PFI in February 2024, and was elected in April 2024.
Jeremy has had a career of over 30 years in financial markets in New Zealand and Australia, including 27 years as an equity analyst culminating with a Senior Equity Analyst / Director role at Forsyth Barr from 2002 to 2021. Among the various sectors he researched, the listed property sector was a particular focus, and Jeremy had a top three market analyst rating for many of those years.
Jeremy completed a BCA in Accounting from Victoria University of Wellington. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and for around 10 years was a Director of the Chartered Financial Analyst Society of NZ. Jeremy is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors and a Trustee for the Pinc & Steel Cancer Rehabilitation Foundation NZ.
Jodie joined PFI as Property Manager in 2012 and was promoted to Asset Manager in 2020.
Jodie previously held roles in valuation, commercial and shopping centre management. She is a graduate of Auckland University where she completed a Property Degree and Diploma of Business (Finance). Jodie is responsible for the asset management of a portfolio of PFI's properties.

Rodrigo joined PFI as Asset Manager in 2020 and was promoted to Asset and Development Manager is 2022, then Development Manager in 2023.
Rodrigo holds a property degree from Lincoln University and has over 12 years of experience, with the last five years specialising in the management of syndicated properties across New Zealand. Prior to that, Rodrigo was involved in the management of a nationwide government property portfolio and worked in commercial management within the aerospace industry in Germany.
Rodrigo is responsible for leading the development of PFI’s new build warehouses as well as major capital projects within the portfolio.

Luke joined PFI as Property Manager in 2019. He was was promoted to Senior Property Manager in 2022 and Asset Manager in 2024.
Since graduating Auckland University in 2013, Luke has held a variety of roles in, commercial, industrial, retail and residential property management.
Luke is responsible for property management at PFI.

Michael joined PFI as a Property Manager in 2021, and is a graduate of the University of Auckland, holding a Bachelor of Property. Michael has held a variety of roles within the property industry and is also a member of the Auckland Aces Cricket team.

Rhiannon originally joined PFI in a contract role in May 2023. She then came on board permanently in the newly created Property Team Coordinator role five months later.
With a background in administrative management for SME's, together with people and project management in Creative and NGO spaces, Rhiannon provides support to the Property Team and wider company through her skills in data and information management, business improvement and process development, communications, and events management.
Pamela joined PFI as Finance Manager in 2020 and was promoted to Senior Finance Manager in 2023.
Pamela has completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland and is a Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining PFI, she has held roles in various industries including the private equity industry in London and shopping centres portfolio in New Zealand.
Pamela works closely with the Property team and other members of the Finance team of PFI.
Nick joined PFI in 2018 as a Senior Analyst. He was promoted to Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in 2020 and then to Senior Investment Manager in 2023
Nick is a graduate of the University of Otago where he completed his Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting, and has since gained his CPA Australia designation. Prior to joining PFI, Nick spent four years at ASB Bank in various planning, forecasting and analysis roles.
Nick works with both the Finance and Property teams on a wide variety of analytical tasks, including budgeting / forecasting and valuations, as well as assisting with the execution of projects and transactions.
Nirali joined PFI as Assistant Accountant in 2016 and was promoted to Financial Accountant in 2020.
Nirali has completed a Bachelor of Commerce and Property conjoint degree from the University of Auckland and is a Chartered Accountant. She has previously held roles in the property industry.
Nirali works closely with the rest of the finance team of PFI, with a particular focus on leases and the accounting of PFI’s tenants and properties.
Tom joined PFI as an Analyst in 2021 and then moved into a Business Performance Analyst role in 2023.
Tom is a graduate of Victoria University of Wellington where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance and Philosophy. Prior to joining PFI, Tom spent time working in various Analyst roles at Turner’s Group and Heartland Bank; most recently coming from a gap year working in Japan.
Tom works with both the Finance and Property teams on a wide variety of analytical tasks.
Shalini joined PFI in 2021.
Shalini is a graduate of the University of the South Pacific having completed a double major Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting & Financial Management and Economics. Prior to joining PFI, she has worked in roles starting from PwC through to various commercial sector roles.
Shalini works closely with the rest of the finance team, with a particular focus on Accounts Payable.
Samantha joined PFI as Systems & Reporting Manager in 2022.
Samantha is a graduate of the University of Pretoria and University of South Africa, and has completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting Sciences and an honours degree in Accounting Sciences respectively. She is also a Chartered Accountant (South Africa). Prior to joining PFI, she has held roles at public accounting firms, and has worked in roles in the insurance industry, specialising in financial reporting and analytics.
Edwyn joined PFI as an Investment Analyst in April 2023.
He has a master’s degree in Applied Finance and Economics from the University of Canterbury. Here he focused on corporate finance, and financial valuation and modelling. Edwyn also brings experience from previous roles in management consulting and account management.
As a part of our Finance team, Edwyn supports a wide variety of analytical tasks, including budgeting, forecasting and valuations.
Kieran joined the PFI team as the Lead Facilities Manager in 2022.
Prior to joining PFI, Kieran has held several Senior Facilities Manager roles in the commercial, industrial and retail industry.

Tobias joined the PFI team in early 2023.
Prior to joining PFI Tobias was based in Melbourne, VIC where he oversaw the facilities and engineering management of a diverse range of high value assets.
Tobias has experience running major building services upgrade projects and energy efficiency initiatives.
Uru joined PFI as Facilities Manager in June 2023.
Prior to joining PFI, Uru worked as a Sustainability Administrator and most recently, Assistant Facilities Manager within the property industry.
Uru is a graduate of the University of Auckland where she completed a Bachelor of Property in 2020 and works with our in-house Facilities Management team, managing the requirements of PFI’s properties.
Cass originally worked at PFI as Office Manager from 2019 – 2021. She re-joined PFI as Marketing and Communications Manager in March 2023.
Cass has over 15 years’ experience in administration and office management, and has worked in a variety of industries in NZ, Australia and the UK. She has always had a passion for marketing and spent 2022 running her own Virtual Marketing business before coming back onboard with PFI in her current role.
Emma joined PFI in 2022.
She is a graduate of Auckland University of Technology where she completed her Bachelor of Laws Degree. Prior to joining PFI, she held previous roles in customer service and reception.
Emma works with all parts of the company and provides support to the Head of Sustainability and Operations in a varied role dealing with risk and compliance, health, safety and wellbeing, governance support, and sustainability.
Genevieve (Gen) joined PFI as Office Administrator in 2022 and was promoted to Office Manager in 2024.
Gen is a graduate of the University of Auckland, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Ancient History and Anthropology. Prior to joining PFI, she held roles in hospitality, retail and travel.
Gen provides day-to-day administration and general support for the wider office.
